kid’s castle

The stage of this castle is set for King Arthur and Guinevere.  The flanking towers are storage units that open from the front.  The keeper of the castle wanted the backstage space for props and other storage, but the cabinets could have opened from the back just as easily.  This piece could also be built as a room divider with single beds behind each tower or with a loft with a full or twin bed.    You could also use the entire structure as a headboard for a bed or frame a window seat with the arch.   This room was finished with a painted block pattern to match the castle walls.
